Above/Above Apparel was founded late in 2007 with the intension of making tees different from the ordinary. I (Brian, owner of Above) was sick of seeing great designs ruined by company names all over the clothing. So, I started to create and plan out what i hoped to be a different approach to clothing. After many false attempts and encountering almost every challenge possible, I have now created the first Above/Above Apparel line. Utilizing color and creative ideas from various artists across the world, my desire is to bring you clothing that is unique and personal.

In late 2008 after releasing my new line of clothes I decided to buy a decent camera online, for doing photoshoots and making blog posts more interesting. A few months later on I had the idea of bringing my camera to the music events I loved attending and that gave birth to Above Events. After months of a declining economy my funds were depleted, so I siezed this as an opertunity to contiune with photography at events. I have since put the apparel on hold and my focus with the company has shifted.After about six months of doing event photography, Above started to get around and is now commonly seen as one of the many photography companies attending underground and non underground events in Southern California. More recently, I have created a photo team which now consists of 8 photographers including myself. In the next few months I hope to obtain a steady job and continue producing Electro Dance wear. My goal is to finally launch the largely anticipated (www.aboveevents.com) with event reviews, blogs, and ratings for the convenience of all Electronic music fanatics. We plan to increase the number of events we attend and to branch out into other places.
